SBNation Coverage
So, apparently all I had to do for the Brewers to get a win was doubt the possibility. Jeff Suppan held the Mets to two runs on eight hits in six innings. There were some tense moments in the seventh when Suppan was allowed to hit for himself, then removed from the game after facing one batter in the seventh, but Todd Coffey came in from the bullpen and got a double play with the bases loaded to end the seventh, then another huge double play to end the eighth, and pitched the ninth to notch an eight-out save...
Corey Hart went 2-for-3 with a walk in the game. Rickie Weeks singled in a run to make it 4-2 in the ninth and was the most valuable Brewer at the plate. Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, Bill Hall and J.J. Hardy combined to go 0-for-15 with one walk.
